Demo submissions
When you send a demo through the form on this site, we process the name, email address and message you provide. We use them only to listen to the submission and to reply to you. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by sending the form. Providing a demo is entirely voluntary.
The submission is delivered to us as an email and kept only while it is still being considered, or while we are in contact with you about it. If we do not sign the release, we delete the submission within twelve months of receiving it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Abuse prevention
To stop the form being used for spam, we record the IP address of a submission for sixty seconds so that the same address cannot submit repeatedly in quick succession. It is held in memory only and is not written to any database or attached to the message. Our hosting provider additionally applies rate limiting at the network edge. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Processors
Email delivery: Resend (Resend, Inc., USA; transfers under EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Hosting: Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA; transfers under EU Standard Contractual Clauses), which serves every page and therefore processes your IP address. Data processing agreements (verwerkersovereenkomsten) are in place with both. You can request a copy of the transfer safeguards by emailing martijn@chromeprintrecords.com.
Cookies and third parties
This site sets no cookies, and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind. Fonts, images and the 3D logo are served from this domain, so no other company receives your IP address when you view the page. The links to Beatport, Instagram and SoundCloud are ordinary links. Those sites only learn about you if you choose to follow one.
Automated decision-making
There is none. Nothing on this site profiles you or makes any decision about you automatically. A person reads every demo.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to its processing. You may withdraw your consent at any time, which stops any further processing but does not make what we did beforehand unlawful. Contact martijn@chromeprintrecords.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
